WHAT IS A HEALTHY SNACK? 1. A snack is a portion of food that is smaller than a regular meal. 2. Healthy snacks are low in sugar and low in fat 3. Healthy snacks act as a nutritious filler of vitamins and energy your body needs.

HEALTHY SNACKING TIPS 4. Do not wait too long between meals.

HEALTHY SNACKING TIPS 5. Put healthy snacks within eyesight. EG: On a kitchen table or countertop

HEALTHY SNACKING TIPS 6. Take your snacks out of the packaging and put them in smaller containers.

JUNK FOOD JERRY Junk Food Jerry is a high school student who loves to come home from school and sit in front of the TV with a huge bag of potato chips as he does his homework. Although his mother buys fruits and vegetables for the family, Junk Food Jerry never wants to get up and get them. When it is time for dinner he is always the first one done his meal, leaving the rest of the family at the table while he goes back to the TV and his potato chips.
