Focus Question For People with Disabilities, justify the TWO most significant needs for each group and discuss the implications if these are not met. (8 marks) People with Disabilities (Category A) What do we need to have an understanding of before we begin this question?

Brainstorm! We need to have an understanding of People with Disabilities before we begin this question.

For People with disabilities, justify the TWO most significant needs for the group and discuss the implications if these are not met. To understand how to justify needs we must have a better understanding of the group Learn About: Learn to: Prevalence of each group within the community What is the prevalence of the group within Australia? Individual diversity within each group How might individuals vary within the group.

Specific needs of the group People with Disabilities The first part of the question is the following; For People with Disabilities, justify the TWO most significant needs for each group. As per the syllabus There are 6 specific needs to choose from. They are; Adequate Standard of Living (food, clothing, shelter) Health Education Employment Safety and Security Sense of Identity

Remember you need decide which needs are significant to People with Disabilities. You will then need to extensively justify your choice. TELL ME WHY?

The second part of the question is the following; discuss the implications if these are not met. Specific needs of the group People with Disabilities
