INTRODUCTION It is describing the continent of South America. The features and the effects of the landscape on life in an area. Geography helps us to understand modern South America.

CAUSE AND EFFECT Cause- when 2 earths plates collide and pushed and upward. Effect-It will create volcanoes that are boundaries of volcanoes in the Andes

CAUSE AND EFFECT Cause-Patagonia is high, cold, and barren area. Effect-The harsh environment dose not support much life.

MAIN IDEAS Amazon river is the worlds second largest river. South America has three other big river basin. South America has plains as well as mountains and rivers.

MAIN IDEAS One dry place is the Atacama desert Blowing drifts of sand,salt and minerals cover the land
