Next Meeting Dates Great sessions ran from Feb-April! – February 2015 – Google Glass, presented by Damian McDonald. – March 2015 – A tour of Mechanical Engineering ‘National Facility for Innovative Robotics Systems’. Aurora and Martin Levesley Featuring one of the world’s largest 3D printers and 3D visualisation studio. A look at some haptic devices developed by students for medical teaching applications; and possibly a demo of a robot guitar, as seen on the Royal Institution lectures. Staff in engineering are keen to discuss how these facilities may benefit teaching. – April 2015 – iPads for Learning – delivered by Apple Professional Development Trainer Dr Steve Bunce.

Next Meeting Dates E-Assessment policy: Support and Discussions and building upon previous network sessions. 10 June 2015, GTSC, Parkinson Court An extra something will also be at the 10 June session - come along it’s a surprise – and find out what it is… (it might be something to do with augmented reality, cake, iPads, GoogleGlass… or something else!). This is to celebrate and say thank you to everyone who takes part and to mark the success of the re-launched network since I’m leaving the University at the end of June so this will probably be my last learning technologist network event.
