The President notifies candidates of reappointment or non-reappointment by July 30 Article 3 (Reappointment/Tenure) – page 51 1 st year – applications due May 15; Dean’s letter by June 15 2 nd year – applications due March 20; reappointment letter for 4 th year by July 30 3 rd year – applications due March 20; reappointment letter for 5 th and 6 th year or 5 th year only by July 30 4 th year – applications due May 15 (like 1 st year if reappointed for 5 th and 6 th year); Dean’s letter by June 15. The Office of Human Resources will verify the Qualifying Life Event and then notify Academic Affairs, the Dean, and the Department Chair.
