Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Martin Luther Kings speech I have a dream was in Washington dc in Martin Luther king helped change America. He also brought worlds attention how unfairly blacks were treated. He done also helped millions of Americans, but his strong leadership and unprecedented power of speech gave the people faith and courage to keep working peacefully even when others did not and he fought for the rights of black people.

Jackie Robinson was the first African American major league baseball(MLB)player of the modern era. Robinson broke the baseball color line when he debuted with the Brooklyn dodgers in In the 1960s, he helped establish the Freedom National Bank, an African-American-owned/controlled financial institution based inHarlem, New York. n recognition of his achievements on and off the field, Robinson was posthumously awarded the Presidential Medal of Freedom and the Congressional Gold Medal.
