5 Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.  In 1948, he graduated from Morehouse College in Atlanta, Georgia. By: Shakyeria and Dre’daesha

6 President Barack Obama  In 1983, he graduated from Columbia University in New York City, New York.  In 1991, he graduated from Harvard Law School. By: Takayla and Arrianna

9 Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.  In 1955 he led a boycott of the buses in Montgomery, Alabama.  In 1963 he led a march on Washington and gave his “I Have a Dream” speech.  In 1964 he was awarded the Noble Peace Prize.  January 15, 1986, Dr. King’s birthday is celebrated as a national holiday for the first time.
