Sixth Grade: Ancient Cultures –Values - Beliefs -Rituals Conceptual Constructs Mission Statement: Our mission as Social Studies educators is to guide students on their journey to adulthood. With certainty, our subject is the best vehicle to influence students’ morals, to foster tolerance for all cultures and beliefs, and to practice decision making skills. Through intellectually stimulating experiences, students will explore the human condition and analyze the motives and consequences of past behavior. By understanding the past students will begin to realize that their individual actions or reactions not only impact their future, but the future of our diverse nation.

Your child will be scheduled for Social Studies The First & Second Marking Periods or The Third & Fourth Marking Periods During the other two marking periods he or she will have Science.

YOU ARE ADVISED NOT TO USE THE BATHROOM DURING READING, OR WHILE THE CLASS IS WATCHING A VIDEO.
