Classroom Management  Respect for all  Focus on positive by rewarding students with praise and tickets for class drawings  Use Canter’s Assertive Discipline and Jones’ Positive Discipline techniques  “Discipline Log” Student fills out a reflection log sheet when classroom rules are not followed. 1x = warning 2x = student writes a note to the teacher 3x = students writes a note to get signed by parent 4x = student speaks with counselor or administrator 5x = administrative referral may be written

8. Field Trips  Spring trip to Manassas Battlefield for Science activities related to Watersheds unit  Winter play at GMU is a possibility
