Click the 'Tasks' tab After creating a task you then have to assign the task just as you would assign a test.

Click the info icon for further instructions

Click the drop-down button to view all your created tasks

Select the task you want to assign

Click the class drop-down button to view all your classes

Select the class that you want to assign the task to

Click the 'Individuals' toggle button to assign to specific individuals. Again you have the option to assign the task to the entire class or a specific individual or multiple individuals.

Select one or more students. Hold the 'Ctrl' button on your keyboard while clicking the student names to select multiple students. Again you have the option to assign the task to the entire class or a specific individual or multiple individuals.

IMPORTANT NOTE If you choose to assign a task to the 'Entire Class', students who register for your class after you assign the task WILL still get the assignment when they add your class. If you choose to assign the task individually, new students will NOT get the assignment. Click the 'Assign Task' button. Select 'Yes' to require a due date.

Click the 'Calendar' icon to select the due date.

Select the month and day

Click 'Yes' to require a student response. A student response allows the student to upload a file or write a text response to the task. You will then be able to view each student's response and grade them if necessary.

Click the 'Save' button to save the assignment

Click the 'Close' button to close the window Your task has now been assigned. You can verify the options here.

Click the 'Tasks' tab on the assignments tab to view your task assignments.

Click the class name to view the task assignments for that class.

Edit assignment options Add or Remove students from assignment Delete assignment
