AD & LEIR 27/09/2013 LSC - EN-MEF-OSS 2 AD – BHN06: coils delivered at CERN on 30/10. Test will follow ATRAP area partially dismantled (very good collaboration) – UHM3107 and UVM3207 tanks : removed once again out of the machine for an inspection and the replacement of some gaskets – KFI tanks reinstallation expected mid Oct postponed to November – installation of the new access point is completed LEIR – Sector 1: All equipment back, DHV12 alignment control done, Cooling water restarted – Sector 2: Leak on a flange being repaired, bake-out in place – Access system - In service ATRAP area partially dismantled AD access system LEIR – Sector 2 ready

PSB Completed. – Installation of the new magnet support for the BTY.QFO.108 magnet (beam dump project). – Commissioning of the access control MAD – Successful replacement of the BI.SMH Septum magnet stack In progress – PSB beam dump replacement project on schedule. Reassembly and final survey of the BTM & BTY lines ongoing. – Cooling circuit upgrades to the main bending and quadrupole magnets. – CV consolidation and maintenance, kickers, Septa, vacuum beam instrumentation, Magnet and Beam stopper, cabling campaign. Forecast – Installation of the newly designed BCT’s – Installation of the newly designed Pick ups (UES) – Replacement of the injector line PR137 crane. – Renovation of the machine ring cranes PR134, 135 & /08/2013LSC - S. SPS BA1: – Irradiated cabling campaign in on-going Kicker cables already removed and the installing of the new kicker cables is in progress. TT10: – The new support beams have been installed – Injecting into the crown of the tunnel is now the next step in the process. Other works: – TE/ABT have begun conditioning of the kickers in BA4. – This will continue until the end of November – TE/ABT are in the process of replacing Septas in BA2 – This will continue until the end of the year – EN/CV are replacing blocked pipework in TT20. – On-going – BE/ABP have noticed that the jacks provided for the large quads in sextant 6 are not adapted for the high load and keep on moving…They need to go back again and change them (61710,61810 and 61910) – This will not affect the schedule 20/09/2013LSC - EN-MEF-OSS5
