Point 1TS3 TREX 5th November, 20154  AFP RP stations: Installation of secondary vacuum pumps and + crate, connection to mains (LHC UPS) in RR17 Compressed air infrastructure in the tunnel – VIC only Installation of short missing cable trays at both ATLAS arms cable tray on the floor between stations and patch panel (205-217m, vertical cable tray behind QRL) short cable tray at RR17/RR13 entry floor opening at RR17/13 (cable passage)  ? short cable tray in UJ17/UJ13 Mark beam line position and start and end points of stations on the tunnel floor (preparation of drilling)

5. Point 1 YETS TREX 5th November, 20155  AFP RP stations: Install detectors @ C6R1 during YETS The works involve: Cabling Trigger (1R, 1L) and control cables (1R ?) Cabling campaign for control  between W1 and W2  1wk allocated Common visit scheduled during TS3 Safety requirements: Method statement for the work to be carried out. Erection and verification of mobile tower scaffolding, and its proper use. Mobile elevated working platforms if they will be used Safety at CERN Electrical Awareness HO/BO Biocell training Masks and all other individual protection Personnel Dosimeter Drilling for the supports Vacuum chamber modification between Q5 and Q6 (1R) Equipment commissioning from surface

6. Point 1 YETS TREX 5th November, 20156  New Water Cooled Cables for ALFA One extra DC water-cooled cable will be added for Q4.L1 and Q4.R1 (RR13, RR17)

7. Point 5 TS3 TREX 5th November, 20157  ZDC activities: Removal of absorber bars from TANs and installation of ZDCs; Connection of HV and readout cables; Test of the functionality of the calorimeter. ZDC removed during YETS  W51 Crane in Operation in LSS5

Point 5 TS3 TREX 5th November, 20158  TOTEM timing detector sector 45: 1.Exchange detector package for RP 220m near vertical top: stop cooling open cooling circuit stop vacuum pump - ventilate the RP 220m near vertical top remove present detector package from Roman Pot Measuring of thin window gap with LASER install new detector package with Diamond timing detector in Roman Pot reconnect vacuum -> leak test reconnect cooling -> cooling test 2.HV connectors and HV lines install HV connectors on HV cables in tunnel install (attach) two little racks to the RP unit 220m near install SAMPIC board and PC in this rack with timing electronic components

10. Point 8TS3 TREX 5th November, 201510  Shower Counters: Calibration measurements on LHCb forward shower counter stations. Both sides RB84 and RB86 IT 8L & 8R will be empty from Tuesday to Thursday View of the shower counter stations B0 integrated in the LHC layout (courtesy of EN/MEF-INT).

11. Point 8 TS3 TREX 5th November, 201511  Scintillating Fibre module: Installation of scintillating fibre module. RB84 side IT 8L will be empty from Tuesday to Thursday Placement of the fibre module on the ECAL table and the shielding wall of RB

12. Conclusions TREX 5th November, 201512 TS3 Requests from experiments are well integrated in the TS3 Schedule and there are no constraints. YETS -Activities related to ATLAS AFP and CMS TOTEM PPS need to be carefully planned due to potential co-activity issue with 5 th axis collimators restoring. -Not all activities concerning TOTEM timing detector and CMS TOTEM timing & tracking are announced, so the potential co- activities issues are not yet evaluated (drum passage, …)
