Comanche Indians By Sarah Simmons, Mary Peyton Bell, and Cole Weickenand

Where did the Comanche Indians live. This tribe lived on the North American southern Great Plains. It consisted of Oklahoma, Northeast Texas and New Mexico

What did they do? Comanche were hunters and gathered food. They were very aggressive. They tried to take over other indian tribes The Comanche were also very skilled on horse back.

What they wore? They wore fine clothing from Europe. Comanche also wore a lot of silver and leather.

What weapons did the Comanche tribe have? They had: Comanche war hawk club Bow and arrows Comanche lance

Famous battles that the Comanche Tribe fought in? The Great Raid of 1840, it was the largest raid ever mounted by the indians on white cities. The most famous battle fought by the Comanche Tribe are the first and second battles of Adobe Walls.

FUN FACTS!!!!!!! There is a helicopter named after the Comanche The word “Comanche” means enemy, describing their harsh actions.
