3 Location  Great Plains of Texas  Also lived in Oklahoma, Kansas, New Mexico, and Colorado

4 Way of life  Nomadic  No permanent home  Lived in tepees  Hunters  Bear, elk, antelope, and buffalo  Used EVERY part of the animal  Used arrows and spears

5 Way of life continued  Warriors  Fought to protect their way of life  Introduced to horses by Europeans
