Working Group Purpose The Working Group will provide the following deliverables: An analysis of each of the four major conferences to include: Registration and sponsorship history and patterns Registration and sponsorship revenue A recommended strategy for ACT-IAC to for moving forward with these events for the next three-five-seven years. The strategy shall include: – A justification for retaining, repurposing or retiring each of these events. – A plan for each of these events to cover all costs, direct and indirect within three years via registration revenue. – A clearly defined plan for taking content from the forums and including it into the conference and vice versa, so that all of the events align with the continuum. – List of topics that should be addressed within each of these events so that they support the association’s five priority areas. – Perform a SWOT analysis for each of the conference and their current venues. Working Group Deliverables (cont) A strategy for increasing registration for each of these events across government. A strategy for infusing content and speakers from member companies into these events. A strategy for including the ACT-IAC Academy into each of these events. The Working Group will address the educational needs and opportunities associated with serving the government IT market in the Washington D.C. metro area and around the country. The government IT marketplace includes Federal, State and Local. TIMEFRAME: The Working Group shall present its final report six months after the appointment of the Working Group leadership.
