QSEN Experience Other teaching strategies being employed include: Major simulation upgrades with case scenarios to be implemented in fall semester Senior research course assignment involving hospital data on Patient Falls: Presentation by hospital risk mgmt De-identified data for students to analyze Literature review, analysis, recommendations by student teams Presentation to hospitals’ nursing leadership council

QSEN Experience Curriculum mapping of quality and safety Retreat for faculty and hospital leaders Simulation training for faculty in August Community Disaster Drill for students Lesson learned: Integration of quality and safety content can be FUN, but weaving it throughout the curriculum does not occur overnight.
