Political cartoon #1

Description #1 The KKK and the White league are scaring the blacks. They do not want them to use their rights they have gained since they were freed.

Description #2 A white person was beating the Chinese immigrant. to somehow encourage Chinese immigration. The Chinese were being segregated by the western settlers.

Description # 4 On the right hand corner there is a sign that says that “the whites were here.” The freed slave is begging for mercy because he has lost his family cause the whites killed them.
