What we do  encourage students to work to their highest potential  provide unique educational opportunities in CCISD classrooms  encourage career exploration in the science, engineering and technology fields

What we do  support teachers in creating innovative lessons  enable high school students to be first generation college students  encourage teachers to become master teachers

What we do  match deserving students to local scholarships  inspire parents and community leaders to promote excellence in CCISD

Who are we?  Community & Business volunteers dedicated to education  Founded in 1992 as a non profit 501 (c)(3) tax exempt corporation  Work collaboratively with CCISD YOU

Why the need?  Reduced state funding  Increased deman d  Unfunded Mandates

Why the need?  Teachers spend a lot of money out of pocket to fund classroom activities This typical elementary classroom contains thousands of dollars of supplies and materials funded by the teacher.

What we’ve done  More than $ 910,000 in grants awarded since 1992  Over 370 teachers selected for grants

What we’ve done  More than 100,000 students impacted by the Foundation’s grants  Every CCISD intermediate school furnished with Career Exploration Technology Labs

Current Funding Priorities  Innovative Instructional Grants  Clear Horizons Early College High School  Career Exploration Technology Labs  National Board Teacher Certification.
