 Explain Colors  Assignment Notebook will have the color your child was on that day.  Please sign the assignment notebook each day to show that you have seen their behavior.  These colors will be averaged together for your child’s general conduct grade on the Tuesday folder and the report card.

 What? – Child centered learning  When?- Everyday  How?- Small groups/ Rotation  Why?- Students learn more efficiently when they can use what they have learned. Students learn from their classmates. Allows for small group instruction and re-teaching by the teacher.

 Each child is given an ample amount of time to complete an assignment in class.  If the assignment is NOT completed during the time given the student will be pulled from recess or workstations to complete the assignment.  After these two attempts to complete the assignment the paper will be graded on the work completed.
