SNOWSPORT ENGLAND The National Governing Body for English Snowsports 4 Next Steps & Funding Process 1.Core Funding approved today for regions. Aim to be paid between 21 st Jan - 12 th Feb Workforce and Regional Activity sections to be assessed on strength and depth of plans with funding decisions being made (December 14 – December 31) 3.Funding available communicated to the regions alongside rationale for decisions 4.Regions to contact their SDO (phone or meeting) to talk through their plans. SDO will clearly highlight ideas and support available. 5.Following this call, if SDO is happy in proposed delivery/logistics of plans, the SSE board will be informed and will sanction the secondary funding for payment at the next board meeting. Board Dates: Jan 19, Mar 3, May 10, July 5, Sept 13, Nov 16

SNOWSPORT ENGLAND The National Governing Body for English Snowsports 5 Proposed Annual Review Process Prior to next years submission, the following is proposed to be carried out as a review so far. Findings from this will be summarised back to regions and be used in the decision making when allocating 2016/17 funding. The aim is for it to be carried out in 4 simple ways to gain an overall picture: 1.Region and SDO will meet and assess the delivery of each part of the regions plan. Each section will be RAG rated based on the actual regional delivery. 2.Short Survey for each Region to complete on the process and support received from SSE, with a view to improve the process for next year. 3.Short survey for clubs to complete around their regions activity and events to raise awareness of regional activity and to measure club engagement. 4.In your 2016/17 submission you will also have the chance to review your year from a committee perspective.
