How oil spillage works In oil spillage is made from ships ,boats, oil tankers or a leaking oil rig Many oil spills are caused by human error, but there are also naturally occurring oil spills, such as seepages from oil deposits under the ocean floor. In 2006, the world consumed more than 3.5 billion gallons of oil each day Sixty percent of that oil reached its destination by sea : Fortunately, due to stricter penalties and better ship design, the number of oil spills has decreased since the oil shipping boom began in the 1960s

Main animal: turtles Turtles are starting to disappear they are getting confused between plastic bags and jelly fish or cigarettes and food we need to keep their life cycle going we don’t want them extinct

Pollution in the sea A lot of people are polluting our sea/ocean We can help by: Putting our rubbish in the bin especially plastic bags. Please pick up rubbish that you sea at the beach and every where else!! This is not only affecting the animals but us too!

How to help Tell people that they’re polluting the environment Do look out for rubbish And mainly don’t pollute anything the smallest thing can affect us enormously!! It will make a difference because: People will see all of our beautiful creatures in the sea not on necklaces And we are saving our sea animals We will feel very proud of our selves of what we’ve accomplished
