Phonemic Awareness Students will tell the teacher what sound starts the picture. The teacher will then click on the picture to show them if they are right.

Friendship

What is a Friend?  A person you like to play and spend time with.  A person that you trust.

How can I be a good friend?  Use words to tell your friend how you feel.  Use caring hands.  Share  Use kind words.  Look at your friend to see how they feel.

Reading Body Language Lesson #2

Audio Lesson #3 Children will listen to audio examples of an appropriate and inappropriate ways of speaking. After an example of each pair we will discuss and practice using kind words.

Problem-Solving Lesson #4  Using pictures and scenarios from the Second Step Program, act out problems and problem solving strategies. Each scenario will be videotaped and viewed as a class resource.

Problem-Solving Example Jack and Sally both want to play with the toy? How can we solve this problem? Julie is mad at Sam but Sam doesn’t know why. What should they do?
