ACCOMPLISHMENTS IN THE OLYMPICS  2012 London Olympics:  Gold: 100m Backstroke, 4x200m Freestyle Relay, 200m Backstroke (WR), 4x100m Medley Relay (WR)  Bronze: 4x100m Freestyle Relay

ACCOMPLISHMENTS (CONTINUED)  Not only did Franklin win the 200m Backstroke in the 2012 Olympic Games, she broke a world record and became the first American female swimmer to win the event in the Olympics in 40 years.
