3. Interesting knowledge Valerie met her coach in 1998 who was Kirsten Hellier. Kirsten was her coach for 11 years. Valerie tried to be the top shot put in 2001 and in 2002 Adams became the world junior champion and got a silver medal at the commonwealth games. Her first Olympic was in 2004 at the age of 19 coming 8 because she had a big operation. The following year Valerie came 3nd.

4. How she trains She eats the good food not the bad food. She gets a hard ball and she does shot put some where. She runs and runs to get in the right shape to be the best.
