Gobble, gobble, gobble!!!!! November Newsletter 2015 Happy Thanksgiving

Hello parents, W elcome to The November newsletter. This is our general talking about our goals for each month, and showing how much we had achieved. October was a very fun month to every one, we had learned a new skill that has added to the kids skills, which is handling tools, and create craft using very simple elements around them. Children derive many important benefits from the opportunity of working with arts and crafts projects. They improved their imagination and self- expression. Developed their own individual craftsmanship interests. And learned that the ability to follow directions is an integral part of the satisfaction of seeing the final result when making a craft.

In Reading: We are running so fast as your kids have the passion of learning, For the beginners: we had finished until letter “Q” identifying and sounding. At the same time, we are working on sounding words that have the letters they already know. We had learned all “long a” cases very well ( ai, a-e, ay), plus (ch, ck) sound For this month we are going to continue learning the alphabet, and all “:long e” case ( ea, ee, e-e), (TH, SH, WH, PH) sound, plus reading words by sounding the letters. For the kids already in a level two, we worked in long (a,e) and more texts and new words. For the kids who are in an advanced level, we are working in science, social studies texts, more comprehension texts, new words, and every week have a spelling test. In Math: Kids are different. Some of them learn faster than others. We are now study from 10-20, for some 20 to 30 for other. We are going to continue identifying and counting everyday. Our Project: This month is all about Fall as we will study everything about fall, coloring, and the spirit of this season. We are going to: 1.Make Fall Lantern by using the empty milk containers, 2.Mix colors to get an orange color, 3.Collect leaves, and making leaves chart. 4.Make crafts for turkey, and more. Events for this month : We are going to have Paul's Birthday on November 17 He will turn four years old, we all say “ Happy birthday Paul” ! Thanks, see you next month Dr. Azza Elmaghawry November 2015
