PROGRESS REPORTS 1.Hand out Progress Reports 2.Hand out Purple Advisor Folders 3.Take out Advisement Worksheet / Distribute Worksheet to NEW Students. *New students will fill out the top portion (Name/ID/Date/HR Teacher ) *Next ALL students will list their courses they are taking in the 11 th Grade Plan boxes and fill in the 4.5 week progress report grades for their current classes. 4.Talk about how students may improve their grades: (IF NEEDED ) *Stay after school for tutoring with teachers *Study a little every day to avoid cramming before tests *Study with smart friends *Attend school every day *Check teacher websites if absent and complete make-up work *Do your homework and turn in in *pay attention and ask questions in class *Check Infinite campus 5. Collect Advisor Folders – Student take the Progress Report Home

ATTENTION JUNIORS: If you are interested in taking any of the following standardizes tests, come and sign up in the Counseling Office as soon as possible. COMPASS – 10/6 – FREE - Entrance Exam for Coastal Pines Technical College ASVAB – 10/8 – FREE - test to measure your abilities and predict occupational success (not just for military!) PSAT – 10/14 – Cost = $18 which must be paid when you sign up – for Juniors in the top 10% - enters you into the National Merit Scholarship Competition (limited seats!!)
