CONTINUED No guarantees that we can match your dream! Expect to work a 37 hour week, not school hours You may be given a day off in the week. School doesn’t expect you to work on a Saturday
NEXT STEPS When you receive confirmation of your placement: Is the placement suitable for you? Check the address – can you get there? Arrange an interview (well before the starting date)
PROBLEMS? If the placement isn’t right: Discuss it at home Talk to Mrs Stephens before turning it down BE AWARE there are limited Work Experience opportunities
FINAL THOUGHTS All our students have a really good week The employers are usually very complimentary Some students are very lucky and get paid a small amount Others may get the offer of a part-time job
