Project Overview Device will dispense a preprogrammed number of pills based on a time schedule.Device will dispense a preprogrammed number of pills based on a time schedule. Component Selection Rationale Microcontroller Speed – only needs to be fast enough to handle A/D conversion and PWM to process audio. IO – Needs enough output pins to handle controlling 4 motors, each with 3 poles, a 4- bit LCD display, audio control, and status LEDs. Needs capability to control two USART interfaces.
