Grading Science is on a total point system. There are 5 different items that are graded: 1.Homework 2.Binder 3.Labs 4.Quizzes 5.Tests

Homework Generally minutes of homework per night Done and on time - 2 points Completed the next day – 1 point No homework the next day – 0 points If there is no homework students should study Projects – a description of the project and a grading rubric will be sent home to be signed

Binder No text books are assigned, we use 5 texts, so I photocopy material that they will need All science sheets are green and are 3 hole punched The first sheet is a table of contents that lists all papers It is collected at the end of a unit for a grade

Labs Each student has a partner for the lab We go over all the answers to the labs the next day Given an extra day to check over Spelling and punctuation are important
