3 Who is Mrs. Bryant?

4 What materials do I need to purchase for this class?
One 1 ½ inch 3-ring binder Loose leaf paper One package of 5 dividers BLACK ink pens #2 pencils

5 These items will remain in class for everyone to share:
1 large box of tissue 1 dry erase marker 1 pack of small post it notes

6 Optional Materials (Nice to have, but NOT required)
Pencil pouch Calculator Pencil sharpener 4 highlighters: yellow, green, pink, blue Colored pencils Three-whole punch (the type that fits in your binder)

7 How can I keep up with my child’s grades?
The CLARITY Parent Portal will be open on October 3, You will be able to check all your child’s grades for every class online!  If you have any questions, contact Mrs. Bryant.

8 How can I keep up with my child’s assignments?
Insist that your child write all assignments in his/her agenda and check your child’s agenda regularly. Check your child’s notebook. If you have any questions, contact Mrs. Bryant.

9 What do I do when my child’s says, “I don’t have any homework
What do I do when my child’s says, “I don’t have any homework.” “I did my homework in Titan Time.” I suggest you say something like, “You always have homework. Reading and studying is part of your homework. Consistent hard work is the most important habit for academic success and growth.” First, establish a designated homework/study time and space. Please insist that your child to use this designated “homework” time for specific assignments, reading, AND review.

During Titan Time Before and after school by appointment

11 Should I call or email you?
for quick questions regarding due dates, homework assignments, and absences. Remember to type the student’s name in the subject line. Call for questions regarding discipline, grades, or other personal information.

12 Homework Due Date: First Day of School! 
Purchase Required Materials. Get a good night’s rest. Eat breakfast. Come to school with a positive attitude and ready to learn!
