History Began in 1984 as a result of a lawsuit Currently governed by a ten-member Board of Directors Allocated over $7,101,998 since 1984

Mission Statement “The St. Louis Philanthropic Organization, Inc. provides funding and capacity building to nonprofits organizations whose programs and services advance the quality of life for St. Louis City Residents.”

Important Dates The original and two copies of the application and one copy of the required attachments are due to the SLPO office on or before February 16, 2016 at 4:30 p.m. Organizations will be notified about the status of their application in May Grant payments will be disbursed before June 30, 2016.
