Welcome

 To receive a fuller introduction to the courses you are going to take  To receive materials that will help you prepare for those courses so you can get off to a flying start in September  To introduce you to some aspects of Sixth Form study and life: more of this on September 8 th

 You will get a flavour of the AS courses  You will be issued with the “bridging units” that will assist the transition from GCSE to AS level  You need to complete these!

 No subject: go to the lower ground floor study room in the Sixth Form Centre except:  No subject in column E: the SFC talk will take place in The Queen's Hall period 3 (11.35)  You will hear more about getting ready for study in the Sixth Form  During the SFC session you must collect an important information pack: please make sure you share the information with your parents

 You can go in first  There will be a cash till  Not allowed off site today  Welcome to use the SFC Fire Alarm  There are no plans to have a fire drill today. If the alarm does go off your meeting point is the small tennis courts area: Year 12 will also assemble there.

 Prefects will be waiting outside the back of the Hall to take you to your first session  Current Year 11s please help new students after that  If you do get lost ask any Sixth Former or member of staff or come to the Sixth Form Centre and see Mrs. Challis or Mrs. Thurrell.
