The report card

Author http://www.andrewclements.com/bio.html My authors name is Andrew Clements. He was born in Camden New Jersey And moved away in 6th grade. Since in the summers there was not much to do he had time to think about writing. He went to college at northwestern earning a masters of arts in teaching. As an author he needed to think and write in a quiet place.

This book takes place at a school called Philbrook Elementry

Nora- a girl who is very smart and tries to stop people from Stephan- an average kid who gets average grades and cares a lot about his grades Mrs Hackney- Is a strict teacher is also the principal of the school. She is the person who tries to solve the low grade problems.

Summary of the report card Nora wants to show kids why grades don’t matter so she gets bad grades but a secret inside of her she dosent want anyone to know is the key of the book. The teachers don’t want this happening although one teacher thinks its interesting. Can nora and one of the teachers spread it or can mrs. Hackney and the other teachers stop it. Read this very interesting book.

Scene 1 Scene 1- Nora gets in trouble because of her grades. Her parents think she needs help so they ask the school why they have not notified them of her daughters bad grades.

Scene 2 Scene 2- Mrs. Byrne finds out Nora is getting bad grades for a reason so she decides to help Nora keep it a secret.

Scene 3 Scene 3-she has to take an IQ test she tries to get 3 out of 10 wrong but she didn’t she got a really high score.

Scene 4 Scene 4 -Its time to spread why grades don’t matter and ignore the principal commands. All the teachers know why she is getting bad grades. Can she spread the word and not get in trouble or not.

Opinion My opinion of this book was not bad out of ten I would give it a six. It was a book that was hard to figure out what is coming up next. That is what made it interesting and that’s why this book is pretty good.

Is very awesome it’s a fact. Tj lawlor Is very awesome it’s a fact.
