3. Biography
Andrew was born on May 29, When Andrew Clements was young, he thought that writing was hard work. When He grew older, he came to teach 4th grade for 2 years, 8th grade English for 3 years, and high school English for 2 years. After he finished teaching, he went to work at a publishing company. After his boss found out that he could write well, he was assigned a few writing jobs. He came to write more and more and finally wrote his first picture book, Big Al. After a few more picture books, his first novel was Frindle.

4. No Talking
My favorite book by Andrew Clements is No Talking. In this book, a boy and girl who don’t particularly like each other can’t stop talking. One day, they come up with a dare where they are not allowed to talk. They can only talk if a parent of teacher specifically asks them a question. Even then, they can only say 3 words. It turns into a the whole grade having a race between the genders to talk the very least.

5. Why I love his Books I like Andrew Clements books because…
-They keep me on the edge of my seat and in suspense at parts that feel right.
-I can relate to the feelings and emotions of the characters. A lot of his characters are about my age so it is easy to relate.
-The way Clements writes and the words he uses are perfect for the stories. He uses good vocabulary but writes so it makes sense.
