Treating Mental Disorder and Where to find Help By Alexis Alaniz Per.1

What is this section about? In this section 4-4 it is going to talk about signs of mental disorders and where to find help. Some signs of a mental disorder are trouble getting along with others, frequent illness without a physical cause, or violent, uncontrollable shifts in mood are just some of

What is this section about? The symptoms. It is likely that one out of every five adults is likely to suffer from a mental disorder at some time during his or her life. Recognizing the need for help is the first step during recovery.

Key Point The most important part of this section is finding help.

What are some of the symptoms? Some of the warning signs are: A sudden, radical change in personality Self-destructive actions: overeating, under eating, drug abuse Violent, uncontrollable shifts in mood Persistent feeling of worthlessness or hopeless Sleep disturbances

Story Jessica recently noticed her friend Vanessa who use to be bubbly has suddenly changed to being depressed and has been keeping to herself. Vanessa is also always tired now and is falling asleep in her classes. When Jessica tries to compliment Vanessa, Vanessa

Always starts to get angry because she doesn’t believe her. Story

Relations and key points I can relate to this section because I have some family members and friends who have mental disorders. When reading this section it makes me feel sad its not the persons fault for acting that way. It also makes me sad because

The people who have mental disorders are usually the ones getting picked on. The key point would have to be is to get help if you have these symptoms. Relations and key points

Conclusion All in all, this section is about mental disorders and seeking help if needed. If you know someone with these symptoms try to help them. This section I think is important for a lot of people to know so they can get another person help.

If you know you have these symptoms seek help. Conclusion
