How to Register your Science Fair Project for the Durham Regional Science Fair (DRSF) Go the following Website:

1. Go to: 2. Click on the "Login/Register" button in the toolbar on the left

3. Note list of categories to Login (or to Register) 4. Choose “I am a participant”

5. To begin Registration (or to continue, modify or update your registration information) – enter a valid address you want to use so that Durham Regional SF can use to contact you

6. A Registration Number is required to continue the Registration process. Your unique Registration Number will be sent to the valid address you entered in the previous step

7.Check your to obtain your Registration Number. 8.Go back to the Participant Registration Page to enter your unique Registration Number You can simply continue from where you left off or you can start over with Steps 1 to 6 and enter your Registration Number when asked – do not request another registration number!)

9. You will be given a Summary of your Participant Registration - there are 7 items that need to be completed to finalize your registration for the Durham Regional Science Fair (DRSF)

10. Start with the Student Information form - complete all parts (parts with an asterisk (*) are required)

11. Click on the “Save Student Information” button – should receive message that student’s form has been ‘successfully updated’

12. Then click on “<< Back to Participant Registration Summary” link under page title or click on ‘return arrow’ to go back to other forms to complete on the Participant Registration - Summary

13. Next choose the Emergency Contact Information form - complete all parts (parts with an asterisk (*) are required)

14. Click on the “Save Emergency Contact Information” button – should receive message that student’s form has been ‘successfully updated’

15. Then click on “<< Back to Participant Registration Summary” link under page title or click on ‘return arrow’ to go back to other forms to complete on the Participant Registration - Summary

16. Next choose the Project Information form - complete all parts (parts with an asterisk (*) are required)

17. Click on the “Save Project Information” button – should receive message that student’s form has been ‘successfully updated’

18. Then click on “<< Back to Participant Registration Summary” link under page title or click on ‘return arrow’ to go back to other forms to complete on the Participant Registration - Summary

19. Next choose the Safety Information form - complete all parts (parts with an asterisk (*) are required)

20. Click on the “Save Safety Information” button – should receive message that student’s form has been ‘successfully updated’

21. Then click on “<< Back to Participant Registration Summary” link under page title or click on ‘return arrow’ to go back to other forms to complete on the Participant Registration - Summary

22. Next choose the Double Check your Name form - complete all parts (parts with an asterisk (*) are required)

23. Click on the “My Name is Correct” button – should receive message that ‘Name Check Complete’

24. Then click on “<< Back to Participant Registration Summary” link under page title or click on ‘return arrow’ to go back to other forms to complete on the Participant Registration - Summary

25. Finally choose the Signature Page form and print out a copy - have your parents / guardian complete and sign this form -Print out this form and complete it -Make sure to include all signatures requested -Mail / fax / scan and a copy to the Durham Regional Science Fair by the deadline (Monday March 16, 2015) -Bring a copy to the Fair on March 28 THIS FORM MUST BE COMPLETED BEFORE A PROJECT # CAN BE ASSIGNED AND PROJECT OFFICIALLY ENTERED IN THE DURHAM REGIONAL SCIENCE FAIR

26. Send the completed Signature Page to the Coordinator of the Durham Regional Science Fair (DRSF) by the Registration deadline (Monday March 16, 2015) using one of the following: MAIL TO: Mary Olaveson, Coordinator Durham Regional Science Fair Faculty of Science – UOIT 2000 Simcoe Street North, Oshawa, Ontario L1H 7K4 FAX TO: (attention: Mary Olaveson) SCAN AND TO: BRING A COPY OF THIS FORM TO THE SCIENCE FAIR IN CASE OF ANY REGISTRATION ISSUES

27. You have completed all of the Registration steps at this online Registration website – you can now Logout

28. You should receive a message that ‘You have been successfully logged out.’

29. Once your completed Signature Page has been received by the Coordinator of the Durham Regional Science Fair (DRSF) your science fair project will be assigned a unique Project # and your registration will be complete. See you on Saturday March 28, 2015 at UOIT!
