LITERACY COALITION ROUNDTABLE UPDATES October 16, 2015

UPDATES Dolgeville Elementary School wrote a grant to work/assist families with newborns in the Dolgeville District. Our Grant was accepted through the generosity of the Community Foundation. This will allow a Family Worker and a Nurse to go into homes, bring educational items to the families and check developmental miles stones at birth to 4 years of age. We are very excited and can't wait to assist our families ● Julie Castor, Dolgeville Schools All Herkimer County Kindergarten Teachers have been filling out the Kindergarten Readiness Forms. Sue Butler and Chris Reynolds are collecting the forms now and soon will be inputting all the data. ● Julie Castor, Dolgeville Schools
