Jesse James The American bank and train robber.

Early Life  Jesse James was born September 5, His families’ farm was brutally raided by the Union Army and so Jesse joined the confederate army. After the civil war he moved to a life of crime with his brother Frank.

James Gang  Jesse made a gang of criminals, named the James Gang. They became the most feared gang in America at the time. They were known for committing over 20 bank and train robberies. They stole over $200,000.

Personal Life  Even though the Gang was vicious killers and robbers, they were also known as great family men who loved their wives and spent plenty of time with their children, all while carrying on in their life of crime. rience/features/general-article/james- robberies/

Most Recent Crime  He was trying to steal a payroll from the U.S. Army Corpse of engineers. He and a bunch of gang members took out the receiver of materials and stole about $5,

Behavioral Theory.  Because Jesse joined the confederate army he learned violence and thievery. Therefore when the war was over, he resorted to this again.
