School was a very scary place when I first started. The bullies were very big and very mean; whereas I am very small and I was very nervous on my first day. But my brother is very brave and he told the bullies that it would be very silly of them to pick on me. My brother is very strong and very brave and I am glad he is my brother.

The hotel was nice. We had a nice room and there was a nice swimming pool. The food was really nice. The weather was nice every day, except the one day it rained. I met two brothers out there and they were nice to me and we played football on the beach. It was really nice to get away for a couple of weeks, but it’s also nice to be home now.

Rewrite this passage to vary vocabulary and sentences structure. I find Maths very easy. It’s just numbers. I find English easy too. It’s just words. I find Science easy. It’s like Maths, and that’s easy. I like History because it’s easy. But I don’t find PE easy. I have two left feet and find it very easy to fall over them.

I t was a Friday and I was at my friend’s house for a sleepover, with Lisa and Katie and Steph. Her mum cooked pancakes for tea and her dad made us milkshakes with whipped cream and marshmallows. It made it very difficult to sleep and we stayed up until really late. Lisa’s mum said we were all hyper and kept her up all night chatting and singing and being generally noisy. I had a really good time at Lisa’s sleepover and can’t wait until Steph has hers next weekend.
