Compressed (zipped) Folder Menu Option

How to Extract a Folder In order to view and modify files or folders that have been zipped, we must first extract the files and folders back to their original size. Right-click on a ZIP file or folder and select the “Extract All...” menu option:

How to Extract a Folder The Extraction Wizard will appear. Press the Next button.

Extraction Wizard Enter the path where you would like the files to be saved. In the image shown files will be extracted to the directory d:\extracthere. If that directory does not exist, it will be created. After you type in the location where you want the files to be extracted, press the Next button.

Extraction Wizard The folder/files have now been extracted. To see the extracted files, leave the checkmark in place, otherwise uncheck the box labeled Show extracted files.
