What are learning styles? Learning styles are simply different approaches or ways of learning. What are the types of learning styles? –Visual Learners –Kinesthetic –Audio

Visual Learners: learn through seeing... Using graphic organizers Sitting at the front Use flashcards Take detailed notes Color code things Watch videos on how to do things Use charts, graphs, maps

Auditory Learners: learn through listening... Tape record lectures and discussion Read aloud Listen to music about a topic Make up rhymes and poems Repeat things orally Use mnemonic devices

Tactile/Kinesthetic Learners: learn through, moving, doing and touching... Hands on activities Pace/walk Role play Write Take notes Use mnemonic devices Move around
