5. ARE YOU AN AUDITORY LEARNER???
Auditory learners generally learn better by listening
Lectures, discussions, reading aloud, etc…
Remember best by hearing something and saying it aloud

6. Perhaps You are a Visual Learner?
Generally think in terms of pictures
Prefer to see things written down
Handout, text, overhead, PowerPoint, maps, graphs, charts

7. OR ARE YOU KINESTHETIC??
Touching, feeling, and experiencing what they are trying to learn
Remember best by physically manipulating the information they are given
Very hands on
and active learners

8. Teaching an Auditory Learner
Provide oral instructions Use videos when possible Realize that those who are strong in auditory learning typically take longer to read a passage Include group discussions

Try having notes and visual aides for students to see
Teach them how to highlight important ideas
Make sure to give written directions along with verbal ones
Write important ideas on the board
