Developing the EEAC Network Into a Sustainable Energy Network August 2004

Why the move to SEN is necessary The Energy White Paper has set ambitious carbon reduction targets: –For household energy efficiency –For renewables –For transport The role of direct engagement with customers is highlighted for all three Most attractive approach is to encourage individuals and group decision makers to choose sustainable energy

What we need to do differently Need to reach greater numbers of customers –By raising the profile of our message –By ensuring that the message is delivered cohesively Need customers to take several actions –By cross selling of technologies –By better engagement with the concept –By building a relationship with them Need to make it easy for them to take action –By ensuring that appropriate solutions are available –By providing a co-ordinated delivery infrastructure
