What is the Internet? Definition: A global computer network providing a variety of information and communication facilities, consisting of interconnected networks using standardized communication protocols Examples of Internet Sites: Youtube, Google, Facebook, Yahoo, 4chan, Hotmail.

What Does The Internet Have To Do With Teen Culture? Many teens use The Internet in their day-to- day life Teens spend a lot of money each year on Internet games like Farmville. Many teens communicate through the internet via Facebook.

How It’s Constructive Internet can be used by teens to communicate with each other using sites such as Facebook, Msn, Hotmail Can be used for learning purposes such as online textbooks Learn about the world through sites like Youtube, BBC news, Yahoo, Google. Can help check their homework on the internet by using school websites. Can be used to play games as a way to relieve stress

How It’s Destructive Can be used to cyber bully by writing innapropriete messages on Facebook. Can be addictive.
