3 when and what was the 1 st computer? In the year 1837, Charles Babbage was the first to think about something that would function like a computer and ended up designing a programmable mechanical computer that he called "The Analytical Engine.”

4 When was the 1 st colour computer and what was it? The first colour computer was made in 1980. It was one of the earliest, and most successful, of the early generation of personal computers marketed for home use in English-speaking markets.

5 what computers are available today? There are loads of computers that are available today, like laptops,PC iPads'.

6 What are computers used for? Computers are used for all different things like, Research, Homework, Chatting to Friends, Social networking sites like, Facebook, Bebo, MSN, Twitter, MySpace, ETC. Computers are also used for work, getting pictures, using the internet, playing online games.
