Cuenta una historia Paso 1: think of a character and plot, and then create an outline Paso 2: write a story using all grammar learned this year, vocabulary from the book, and the outline Paso 3: draw and color pictures that go along with the story

Criterios para la historia All grammar learned this year must be included - verbs: ser and estar - gustar - definite and indefinite articles - noun-adjective agreement - verb: tener - present tense verbs: ar, er, ir - possessive adjectives - comparatives - stem changing verbs: e=ie, e=i, o=ue - direct object pronouns - irregular verbs - affirmative tú commands - verbs: saber and conocer - Preterite verbs: regular and irregular - affirmative and negative words - pronouns after prepositions

Criterios para la historia Write about person or animal (no stories in the yo form!); include: –4 physical and/or personality characteristics –3 activities like/not like to do –2 secondary characters: family member or friend with at least 2 lines each –At least 5 illustrations Story must be at least 10 pages with at least 5 sentences on each page (Not including short dialogue sentences). Suggestions: use themes from past lessons as guide (in search of a famous person, going food shopping, shopping for clothing, preparing for a birthday party, playing a sport, etc.)
