Dick Loveless Upgrade report 12 Oct Final Assembly & Testing Final Assembly Add on-chamber electronics and cables Assembly going well - ~1-2 days per chamber Testing All CSCs go through a 2-month HV test (up to 4KV – nominal HV is 3.6 KV) On-chamber electronics tested different tests including trigger, gas gain, cosmic ray data Completed 10 chambers – rate limitation is production, not testing

Dick Loveless Upgrade report 12 Oct ME1/1 Electronics I ME1/1 Test Stand in B904 7 prototype DCFEBs have been installed & powered Prototype LVDB board working fine Cooling operational Currents high - - roughly 50 amps per CSC On-board temperatures ~30 C (reasonable) Currently reading DCFEBs using copper skewclear cables and old DMB (can only read 5 boards) Reading new TMB boards using optical fibers
