Let’s learn... Valentine Symbols Globalization

Valentine Symbols

It's not difficult to figure out the connection between the heart and Valentine’s Day. The heart, after all, was thought in ancient times to be the source of all emotions. It later came to be associated only with the emotion of love. (Today, we know that the heart is, basically, the pump that keeps blood flowing through our bodies.) scholars speculate that the heart symbol as we use it to signify romance or love came from early attempts by people to draw an organ they'd never seen. the other valentine symbols Red roses, Lace, Love knots, and Lovebirds

Cupid—Another symbol of the Valentine ’ s Day, he became associated with the holiday because he was the son of Venus, the Roman god of love and beauty. Cupid often appears on Valentine cards. Cupid has long played a role in the celebrations of love and lovers. He is known as a mischievous, winged child, whose arrows would pierce the hearts of his victims causing them to fall deeply in love. In ancient Greece he was known as Eros the young son of Aphrodite, the goddess of love and beauty. To the Roman ’ s he was Cupid, and his mother Venus

The term globalization is widely used, but its meaning is not always entirely clear. It is defined somewhat differently by different persons according to their focus of interests. Here are some definitions: 1) The term “globalization” describes the increased mobility of goods, services, labour, technology and capital throughout the world. Although globalization is not a new development, its pace has increased with the advent of new technologies, especially in the area of telecommunications. What is Globalization?

2) A process of rapid economic integration among countries driven by the liberalization of trade, investment and capital flows as well as rapid technological change. Compared with past episodes of economic history, globalization involves enterprises and workers of nearly all countries, in goods as well as services sectors. What is Globalization?

People around the globe are more connected to each other than ever before. Information and money flow more quickly than ever. Goods and services produced in one part of the world are increasingly available in all parts of the world. International travel is more frequent. International communication is commonplace. This phenomenon has been titled “globalization.”
