Precedent…a definition something done by one person that becomes a tradition or model for another person establishing a “tradition”

Precedents of President Washington Inauguration Ceremony – “swearing in” placed his hand on a Bible while taking the Oath of Office ceremonial title of “Mr. President” creation of a “cabinet” – group of advisors State of the Union address – speech or message to describe the conditions of the country
