Introduction Introduce yourself to your audience by giving your name.   Then get your audience's attention.  You can do this by asking a question that relates to your topic.  For example, "When you were in high school, did you know what you wanted to do when you graduated?" or "Do you know how many graduates enter the work force instead of attending college?" would be appropriate.  (You would need to know the answer to this question in case someone asked!)
